PIEROGI (ENG)
It is the most appreciated Polish dish. It appeals to the taste of virtually everyone who tries it because of the universal taste and variety of forms. They can be eaten both sweet and salty.
Recipe
Ingredients:
-500g flour
-half a teaspoon of salt
-4 tablespoons of oil
-a glass of hot water
How to prepare:
Preparation is child’s play, pour flour into a wide bowl. Add salt and oil, pour water and mix very thoroughly. The dough to acquire the right consistency must rest for a minimum of 30 minutes. Then, with a glass, cut circles from the previously rolled out dough and fill them with stuffing and wrap them in a characteristic shape. The method of preparation of stuffing is any, it can be meat, fruits, vegetables, or special stuffing. The multiplicity of forms of stuffing testifies to their universality and popularity in Poland and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
The method of serving as stuffing is universal, it can be served with borscht (a kind of Polish soup) or with other additives such as butter, etc.
