The culture of relationships
As an old italian saying says “Family is the best that God has given.” Italian people are known for their importance of family and keeping in touch with relatives or even other meaningful for them people. Family for them is not only parents, siblings or grandparents etc. but also distant family such as cousins, aunts and uncles. They always find time to celebrate various occacions with them or simply spend time on a family dinner. Keeping in touch with their relatives is one of the most important things that every italian appreciates.
If it comes to some services Italians prefer to turn to people they know personally instead of people with e.g. wiser knowledge or bigger experience.
Italian men are often found as momma’s boy. Mom is a main authority in every single man’s life. They consulte and ask for everything their mothers. If their spouse has a good relationship with their husband’s mother she’s going to be also respected.
Polish people in relationships are rather distanced to their relatives. They usually focus on their closest family members. They find time for family gatherings, but a lot of young poles find it more important to work or choose a career path instead of finding the beauty of creating a loving family. In the time before world wars or comunism among a lot of women the stereotype of a woman was a so called “Stay at home mom”. They didnt think about working or trying to improve their knowledge. All they needed was cooking, sewing or some house chores skills. After the end of comunism era when Poland became fully independent, polish people started opening a lot of companies and thats, when polish women created a strongly different worldview- they started working and their career became the most important.
Body language and devout to their country
Gesticulation- Italian people gesticulate a lot- body language is a main key to understand what a italian person is trying to tell us. Hand gestures are the most common. Italians are really dynamic, expressful and devoted to a conversation. They are really extravagant. They express a lot of their emotions through clothing, hairstyles, generally appereance.
If it comes to the region they are living in they are really devoted to the theritory. They usually dont leave their hometowns and especially are not eager to leave Italy. Every single region has a slightly different culture. The difference is really common in their word pronounciation but also in a food surface. They all have different food recipes.
Hospitability of Polish people
“Guest in the house, God in the house”- Polish people are not as attached as Italians but they are really hospitable for every singular person that is coming into their house no matter what. They have a specific index of all the manners that they use while hosting someone. A guest coming into their house is strongly related to making the house look the best way possible, but also putting a enrmous amount of food on the table.
